The Reformation

500 Years ago, a young monk named Martin Luther, stormed up to Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany nailed his 95 theses to the door. and started a movement that would change the world as we know it. The Protestant Reformation led to the challenged the very core of belief of the mainstream christian religion of the day that ultimately led to the division of Western Christendom between Roman Catholicism and new Protestant traditions. The Reformation has not only shaped the church as we know it today, but shaped our society in ways we never realised.
